Hi there! This is my first time trying ArtSlam, will see how it goes.

My concept is "improving on creature design", and for June I want to work a bit on the foundation by drawing animals (and maybe humans) from reference. Started out with a tortoise

This is a wonderful sketch. I love how you did the plating on the shell it looks beautiful and the whole thing has a great sense of weight to it.
